Maine Notary Net's Wedding Services serves the Bangor, ME area of Penobscot county. Like Notary Publics in Florida and South Carolina, Maine Notaries have the honor of performing weddings.

If you live beyond our service area, call us anyway and we may be able to find you a Notary Public in your area to assist you using our network.

To make arrangements for your flowers, here are a few florists in the Bangor area, some with websites, and online ordering by credit card for your convenience.

Many florists have an on-staff wedding coordinator to assist in your floral selections. If the Name is known, it is listed here with the phone number. Please call for an appointment with the florist of your choice. Be sure to mention you were referred to them by Maine Notary Net Wedding Services.

As we do more and more weddings we find others involved in ceremonies, such as singers, pianists and other musicians and also some photographers/videographers. After we tell them a little about our site and what we are trying to accomplish (which is a one-stop shop) we ask if they would like to be listed for further contacts. Those that agree are listed in their respective category table below. If their name is showing as a link that means they have a website for you to check out (which will open a new browser window or tab so you can get back to us easily. Email icons have a way to contact the person but please DO NOT change the subject line that appears in the email that opens.

ǂ Please be advised that if you do choose to write you own ceremony, we reserve the right to reprint the ceremony (as others may like your ceremony as well) in our wedding books and on this site. You will be given credit for writing the original ceremony on any reprints. We also make a laminated copy for you to keep.

We also do Renewal of vows for those who are already married but just want to reaffirm their vows. If you wish to write your own renewal of vows ceremony, we will use it but the advisory above also applies here.

Although a traditional wedding may not be what you are looking for, you may wish an alternative type of ceremony known as a handfasting. This type of ceremony could also be used in same-sex unions, as same sex marriages in Maine are not yet legal. We will perform these types of ceremonies as well.

All Ceremonies will receive a keepsake certificate at the time of the ceremony. This is a memento only.
